FOR ORGANIZATIONS

Founder Portfolio Assessment

See what your founders actually need.

Entrepreneurship programs often support founders operating at very different levels of readiness.

Funding stage, company age, or participation in the same cohort does not necessarily tell you what each company has actually proven or what support should come next.

KleerVue Consulting applies the KVC Operating Stage 0–4 Methodology across founder cohorts to create a consistent view of company readiness, evidence gaps, and operating priorities.

One methodology. Individual founder clarity. Cohort-level intelligence.

→ Discuss Your Founder Cohort

See the Cohort, Not Just the Companies

Individual assessments are aggregated to identify patterns across the founder portfolio.

Your organization receives visibility into:

  • Operating Stage distribution
  • Common evidence and readiness gaps
  • Recurring founder needs
  • Areas of premature activity
  • Priority support needs
  • Opportunities for programming and resource alignment

The goal is to help your organization make better decisions about how founders are supported.

The Engagement: Founder Portfolio Assessment

1. Founder Diagnostic
Participating founders complete the KVC Operating Stage Diagnostic.

2. Individual Operating Assessment
KVC reviews founder evidence and determines current Operating Stage, evidence gaps, and near-term priorities.

3. Founder Guidance
Each founder receives stage-aligned guidance focused on what should be proven or prioritized next.

4. Cohort Analysis
Individual findings are aggregated to surface patterns across the portfolio.

5. Leadership Readout
KVC presents cohort findings, key operating gaps, and implications for founder support.

The organization leaves knowing:

🔘 Where its founders are.

🔘 What they have and have not proven.

🔘 Where common gaps exist.

What support the cohort needs next.

From Founder Data to Program Intelligence: Individual Founder

Most early-stage friction is mis-sequencing.

This engagement identifies your true operating stage and what must be proven next.

This is the section I'd make visually strong, using the image we just developed.

Then one sentence:

A common operating framework makes it possible to see patterns that are difficult to identify when every founder is evaluated differently.

In Practice: AG: Ventures | Spring 2026 Business Incubator

Applying stage-aligned founder development across a cohort.

KleerVue Consulting designed and led a four-month entrepreneurship experience supporting 10 founders across multiple industries and business models.

Rather than measuring success through participation alone, the cohort used operating-stage assessments, Business Reality Snapshots, customer validation, structured accountability, and founder progression tracking to establish where each company was operating, what evidence was missing, and what needed to happen next.

Across the four-month cohort:

  • Stage 3 founders increased from 2 to 6
  • Founders with paying customers increased from 5 of 9 to 7 of 10
  • Revenue-generating founders increased from 4 to 6
  • Founders documented 183 customer conversations
  • The cohort achieved 84% attendance and 86% artifact completion
  • At intake, only 30% of founders accurately identified their Operating Stage

The work created something beyond individual founder progress: a cohort-level view of business maturity, customer activity, operating-stage progression, founder engagement, and evidence of decision quality.

That gave program leadership a clearer picture of what founders needed and how entrepreneurship support could be measured beyond attendance and anecdotal success.

Better founder support starts with knowing what has actually been proven.

If you support a cohort or portfolio of early-stage companies, KVC can help establish a common operating baseline and identify where support can have the greatest impact.
